I have been a part of the internal audit team where I was given the opportunity to work on various engagements. Some of them are listed below -ICFR testing of a chemical manufacturing company where my team conducted the testing of the internals controls pertaining to inventory, treasury, tax among other functions. Our team actively engaged with the management where control lapses were identified and enabled them bolster the control mechanism.I also got an opportunity to work with the internal audit department of one of India’s leading NBFCs where I assisted the team in audit of its Secretarial and Compliance functions. This engagement helped me reinforce my knowledge of the prevalant regulatory environment.I have also assisted in transactions audit of multiple entities which included realtors, ARCs where I was able to apply my technical knowledge and skills. It also helped me gain a deep understanding of those businesses.
