Atlanta Heart Associates (AHA) was formed as a three member group in 1992 to meet the cardiac needs of South Atlanta. We changed the way that integrated heart and vascular care was delivered in South Atlanta by providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients in a clean and comfortable environment. Equally important, we understand the importance of providing direct and immediate access to this care, thereby installing a same-day appointment policy that allowed our patients to see their cardiologists soon after experiencing any concerning symptoms. As South Atlanta grew, so did we. In order to meet the needs of our community, our AHA family has grown to 19 cardiologists, 1 vascular surgeon, 7 nurse practitioners and 1 physician assistant serving 6 convenient locations across South Atlanta. Our board-certified physicians at AHA provide advanced care across the cardiovascular spectrum, including: nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery. We continually strive to expand the services that we provide and are now offering multiple kinds of vein ablations.
