Twenty plus years of experience in Embedded Solutions, as a Solutions and Software Contributor; mostly in Multimedia based Products; mostly in Camera featured Products. Now diving into Networking, Security and AI based Solutions as well.Current: Contributing to - Solutions Stack and Architecture for Hardware-Software Co-Design. Contributing to, and Leading - Embedded Software Stack and Architecture (mostly Linux based, Drivers/Middleware/Frameworks/Application) for Multimedia, Networking, Security and AI based Solutions, for Microchip\'s FPGA Products\' Family.Past: Feature Lead, Manager, Technical Project Execution: Feature lead (or managing Feature Leads) for executing complex Features in Projects/Products from time to time. Hands-on experience in Technical Project Execution for entire Software Lifecycle of Projects/Products, including meeting Stability, Performance and Power Goals. Involved in collaboration with global Engineering and non-Engineering teams, such as Project and Product Management, Customer Support, Business Development, Sales, Technical Account Manager, and so on. Smart Camera Featured IoT Products: They constituted basic building blocks of the IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystems. The Software IoT Framework enabled seamless integration with Video Analytics and AI capabilities at the edge, configurability of wide variety of usecases, catering to diverse market segments. Involved in streamlining and analyzing requirements, feature designs, generic open source development, till quality release of the Product to the end Customers. Camera Low-Level Stack for Smartphones: In components including Camera Driver (Linux/Bare Metal), Virtual Prototyping of Camera Stack (SystemC/TLM), and extensively on Camera Firmware. Products included Smartphones and Video Gaming Devices. Multimedia Stack for Set Top Boxes: Worked on Linux V4L2 based drivers and associated open-source middleware, intended for video decoding, through standard or proprietary hardware, mainly targeted for Set Top Boxes. The Software was planned to be upstream\'ed further. WinCE/Windows-Mobile Multimedia Stack: Video Driver, DirectShow Plugins, DirectX Media Objects and Direct3D. End-Products mainly included Smartphones Embedded App Development Toolkit: Complete Toolchain for GUI based embedded applications, aiding Rapid Application Development. Embedded Microcontroller Solutions: Using 8051 Assembly (8051) and J2ME, etc. Products included Pre-Paid Metering and Home Automation Systems. Customers mainly Hi-Tech Residential Apartments and Offices.
