About Parth Hirani

I am a European Registered Toxicologist with over 11 years of experience in the field of regulatory toxicology. As a Senior Toxicologist at Intertek India, I provide toxicological safety assessments, labelling, and reports of chemical formulations for various consumer/professional products (homecare products, cosmetics, biocides, detergents) and pharmaceutical products, according to the relevant regulatory requirements and client needs. I also determine the permitted daily exposures (PDE) and occupational exposure limits (OEL) of pharmaceutical APIs, and prepare product information files and regulatory compliance of cosmetic products for global markets applying my extensive knowledge and skills in regulatory toxicology. Prior to joining Intertek, I worked for Johnson & Johnson for over ten years, where I supported the global toxicology and clinical safety of engineered consumer products, such as feminine hygiene, wound care, baby, adult skin health, pain care, and gift items. I also supported the toxicology evaluation of medical devices. My mission is to ensure the safety of products that impact the lives and well-being of millions of people around the world.
