About Parris Lucas
Today, my focus is open-source research and development at Open Studio Labs. Imagine the \"first-of-its-kind\" open-source (OS) engineering residency to tackle the avalanche of under-supported technical debt. As an OS Citizen, my objectives are to • foster transparent innovation, • coach the next generation of OS engineers, and • contribute to a more inclusive community through open-source practices. Support us in bringing into existence a 12-month engineering pilot this Winter.As a former OS Solution Architect with Red Hat, I advocated OS projects and cultivated a thriving ecosystem of engineers, contributors, and industries. My efforts now are to continue crafting cutting-edge technical content, software, and strategies to amplify Open-Source adoption. I am excited to continue discovering new ways to improve automation, integration, and process supply chain mastery to impact government, non-government (NGO), and businesses, as well as learn new ways to leverage open-source technologies.
