ABOUT PARRIS B.

I have spent 10 years in the hospitality industry, understanding peoples values, personal aspirations and career goals. I am hugely passionate about training and development, doing the right thing for employees and putting metal health and well-being first. Last year, I took a strong interest in the role of people practices so embarked on another studying journey, obtaining my CIPD Level 3. I have had the privilege of being invited onto panel talks with HRC, volunteering with Springboard Charity UK, coordinating employee workshops for disadvantaged youths, and organising sponsored walks to raise money for wellbeing with the charity Mum. Investing in knowledge and inspiring others has helped me over the years to grow my skills in recruiting, HR procedures, training and development, leading workshops and being innovative with ideas, networking and building strong relationships internally and externally. I can project manage, work on effective corporate strategies and mentor and coaching.When I am not working in a busy, fast paced environment, training or sharing knowledge on panel talks, I really like to slow down by cooking, gardening or finding a good coffee shop where I can get stuck into a thriller. I have recently found a love for solo travel, and I also enjoy a hike.
