I have a wealth of experience both in house and private practice over my extensive career. I started my legal career at Eversheds Sutherland as a trainee and remained at the firm for over 13 years in the commercial development team. Looking for a different perspective and experience in practising law, I moved into industry within property development and investment companies. I have spent 5 and half years in industry as a General Counsel and Head of Legal. During this period, I have been the ‘client’ and I\'m well versed in the commercial challenges/pressures facing clients at every stage of development, investment, and real estate finance. My experience includes real estate finance for a variety of mixed use, commercial and residential schemes, acquisition and development finance (commercial and residential), investment finance and refinancing, asset management and commercial development.
