About Parks Fields
Worked with Unix/Linux clusters since the 90\'s. I have hardware and System admin skills. I have concentrated in High speed networks starting with Hippi, hippi6400 (GSN), quadrics, IB and Cray ( Gemini and Aries) We have brought in and integrated several large cluster and capability machines such as RoadRunner,Cielo and Trinity each exceeded a petaflop. I have designed and implemented storage area network for 80 petabyte files systems. Specialties: Making things work.

I do a little of everything. Now involved with facilities and caring for the HVAC systems. Installing a new chiller in February 2022. We provide a test bed environment to HPC division at LANL. We also have time you can buy on clusters.
