ABOUT PARKER SWISHER

The first thing that comes to my mind when asked to describe myself is that my work ethic, accomplishments and drive are second to none. My academic and athletic prowess speaks for itself and drives my competitiveness and overall mentality today. While in high school, I was able to earn my diploma in the International Baccalaureate Programme while finishing with a 4.6 GPA, was recognized as academic all-conference in basketball and was offered multiple opportunities to play college basketball at several premiere and high-academic D3 programs, nationwide. At UNC-Chapel Hill, I continued to be a hard-working student-leader through my involvement as a player and captain on the men\'s club basketball team, by volunteering at a plethora of both sporting and charity events, by maintaining a part-time job working as a sales associate at Gold\'s Gym (Chapel Hill) and finally, by continuing my academic success. Alongside this, I was a member of the women’s basketball practice team and scout team and was extremely devoted to being an integral part of their year-round dedication to being student athletes. Through the rigor that came with balancing UNC\'s academic curriculums as well as all of my extracurricular activities, I also was able to recommence using my time management skills to truly prosper as a scholar in multiple avenues over my time at the university.
