About Parker Stone

I am a Finance student at the University of Connecticut with the goal to have a career in sales and wealth management. I started working in restaurants as a busboy/bar-back and slowly worked my way up to becoming a server and bartender. Through this, I learned many valuable communication skills that have translated well into the current sales and management position I have at Vector Marketing. I started as a sales representative with Vector and I have accumulated over 120 customers and in career sales. This position as a sales representative has taught me about time management and most importantly the psychology of sales. Throughout my last 2 years at UConn, I have continued to sell around my class schedule as well as run interviews and help new representatives find the same success. My assistant manager position has taught me a lot of patience as well as leadership and communication skills which I will use in my professional career for the rest of my life.
