Oversee all internal and external operations of Honors Society. Consists of arranging monthly meetings, organizing subcommittees, and planning philanthropy events. The organizations national philanthropy is “Reading is Leading.” To fulfill our mission, we partner with various local and student organizations to arrange numerous book drives throughout the year for the local community. The organization also holds “The Last Lecture,” which is an event that honors one retiring campus professor and allows them to present a final presentation to students before the end of the academic school year.

ABOUT PARKER BROWN
I am a senior seeking a Public Policy Leadership degree with a Political Science minor. I plan to further my education by attending law school to gain the appropriate knowledge to be a corporate healthcare attorney. The Trent Lott Leadership Institute, Ole Miss Ambassadors, and Phi Kappa Phi are three of the sixteen Special Programs and Honor Societies at the Univeristy of Mississippi that has primarily impacted my studies during my undergraduate. My studies have allowed me to travel across the country and worldwide, gaining knowledge surrounding public policy, government relations, law, ethics, philosophy, and leadership. I am open to any opportunities that can help further my understanding of public policy and leadership capabilities.
