ABOUT PARKER MOORE

I advise clients on the full lifecycle of construction projects. I am a former managing assistant general counsel for a top‑5 ENR design‑build firm. My clients now include developers, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and materials suppliers. I am a leader within North Carolina\'s construction law community, having served as chair of the NC Bar Association\'s Construction Law Section. In my most recent role, I reviewed, negotiated, and revised billions of dollars\' worth of complex construction contracts, as well as subcontracts, professional service agreements, and purchase orders. I also managed large payment and defect claims asserted by and against the company, and I advised corporate leadership on risks of all types across the company\'s national footprint. Prior to my in‑house role, I was a partner in the construction practice group at a midsize Charlotte firm, where I primarily focused on construction projects but also represented clients in general litigation. Earlier in my career, I built a strong courtroom foundation as an assistant public defender and as a litigator in construction defect, personal injury, and commercial liability disputes. I have tried numerous cases to North Carolina juries throughout the state, and I have also arbitrated multiple construction disputes. I draw on that experience to give clients clear‑eyed assessments of risk, venues, and likely outcomes so they can make confident business decisions. I received my law degree from Elon University, where I was president of its chapter of the Innocence Project. I received my bachelor\'s degree from Greensboro College, where I played football and made the all‑conference academic team.
