Assisted customers in the Ticket Queue. Resolving customer requests, further investigating security events, triaging tickets to higher tier engineers or connecting customers with their Concierge Security Team CST) to clear any concerns or update any Arctic Wolf integrations with the customers systems- Cross team communication with Tier 2 & 3 Engineers for investigating incidents. Worked with back-end engineers to resolve infrastructure issues affecting analysts and customers- Initiated outbound calls to inform customers of potentially more serious events as they’re being detected live, resulting in more immediate action and response from the customer to validate the suspicious activity- Utilizing the Cloud-Based SIEM developed by Arctic Wolf, I worked on the frontline defense dashboard; working under strict time based requirements to meet the service level agreement (SLA), it was my task to review alerts as they appeared live. Alert types ranged from Ransomware & Data Exfiltration, Business Email Compromises, Unauthorized Access, Active Threat Actors & Compromised Domain Controllers etc- Excelled in log searching for data in Kibana to investigate potential security threats, and to identify IOCs and present findings in a readable format to customers- Proficient in ticket hand-offs, informing Shift Leads of the customers situation and preparing the next team that is coming onto the next schedule rotation- Helped create a space for Analyst & Engineers to address procedure gaps, operational issues, and technology requests to Management, which resulted in more clarity, decreased recurring problems, and introduced new features to make SOC tasks more efficient- Being precise, accurate, and attentive is a requirement for working the frontline dashboard, as it is the place where security incidents are identified or missed.
