About Parker Crooks
As an Electro-Optical Engineer at Lockheed Martin MFC, I develop image correction, image enhancement, and video display processing algorithms for human-in-the-loop threat warning Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) sensor systems. I also run performance simulations, analyses, and production test procedures for unresolved sensor systems, while designing and validating the associated requirement specifications.In my previous role as a Systems Engineer, I designed and updated system architecture (MBSE) and requirements using Cameo SysML and Rational DOORS. I also acted as the team Scrum Master; organizing and delegating tasks across a product team using Atlassian Jira and Confluence as well as facilitating collaboration and communication amongst program experts and stakeholders.I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Optics and Photonics Science & Engineering, where I gained a strong foundation in Optical Systems and Laser Engineering. While in the CREOL undergraduate program, I worked as an Intern for Lockheed Martin under the Systems Engineering department. I am currently pursuing a Professional MBA at Florida International University (FIU), aiming to enhance my business acumen and leadership abilities. I am a quick learner, motivated by new challenges and opportunities, eager to leverage my previous skills and experiences in any discipline.
