As a Producing Student at CalArts, I have been contracted to produce and oversee the Actors Showcase and Graduation Events since September of 2023, my responsibilities as Contracted Producer included- Scouting, contacting, and negotiating rental agreements with venues in both LA and NYC- Scounting, contacting, and contracting catering companies in both LA and NYC- Hiring and coordinating with graphic designers to create paper goods and digital media to promote and enhance each event- Organizing students to ensure their information is up to date and submitted in a timely manner- Overseeing set and lighting construction for special stages used in graduation ceremonies- Running Front of House Procedures
