About Parishi Patel

I\'m a third year student at Duke University, double majoring in Political Science (International Relations Concentration) and International Comparative Studies (South Asia Regional Focus) and minoring in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies on the Pre-Law track. I\'m deeply interested in foreign policy, international security, and law, and am always open to opportunities in these fields. Through internships at Chandler Law PLLC and the Iredell County Superior Court, I\'ve had the opportunity to increase my experience in the legal field.I\'m also highly motivated and involved in various organizations within the Duke community. I work as an intern for Duke\'s American Grand Strategy program, as well as serve as a Programming Chair for the Alexander Hamilton Society. Through these roles, I seek to foster discussion and education about foreign policy and discuss critical global affairs in a community setting. Currently, I serve as the Undergraduate Religious Life Director for Duke Student Government as well the Vice President of the Hindu Students Association, which have allowed me to develop connections and connect with religious organizations on campus. Through additional roles such as a leading an editing team at the Duke Undergraduate Law Review and helping coordinate Pre-Law events as the Secretary of Bench and Bar, I am actively involved in the pre-law community and committed to increasing my knowledge, understanding and experience in the legal field.
