After serving as Associate General Counsel at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, I transitioned into plaintiff-side litigation with a focus on foreclosure and personal injury matters. This move represents an intentional effort to broaden my legal horizons and leverage my extensive background in insurance defense and complex civil litigation to serve a wider range of clients and industries.In my current role, I represent loan servicers and their investors in foreclosure actions across Florida. My practice involves managing and litigating high-volume and complex contested foreclosure matters, including non-jury trials, summary judgment proceedings, and evidentiary hearings. The firm also provides comprehensive support in related areas such as title review, underwriting, and bankruptcy coordination to ensure that every stage of the litigation and recovery process is handled with precision and compliance.In addition to foreclosure litigation, the firm represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters. These include car, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, wrongful death, and workplace injury claims. The firm’s experience in these areas allows it to competently navigate each stage of litigation—from investigation and evaluation to negotiation and trial—with a focus on achieving fair and effective resolutions for injured clients.This transition has allowed me to deepen my understanding of both the plaintiff and defense perspectives, strengthen my courtroom experience, and apply my prior in-house insights to a broader range of civil litigation matters. I continue to build on my foundation in motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation while contributing to a firm dedicated to delivering strategic, results-oriented representation.
