The Government of Maharashtra (GoM) PWD project upgrade and maintain approximately 451.445 km of state highways (SHs) and major district roads (MDRs) with financial assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). A total of USD177 million financial assistance was provided by ADB under the Maharashtra State Road Improvement Project (Loan 3911-IND). Further USD350 million was provided as additional funding (Loan 4242 -IND) to upgrade 468 Kms of SHs and MDRs under Connecting Economic Clusters for Inclusive Growth in Maharashtra (CECIGM). As a Project Monitoring Services unit, My work includes -Preparation of Semi consolidated environmental monitoring report which is to be submitted to the client ADB (Asian development bank) team.Inspection, management and auditing of the environmental data provided by Authority Engineer\'s for all the 17 EPC contractor companies during the course of the project.Inspection of the Environmental clearance data provided by the Authority engineer\'s for all the 17 EPC contracting companies during the course of the project.Provide and advise the doings of sustainability practices which can minimize the effect on environmental factors during the course of the project.
