WORK HISTORY
Visiting Assistant Research Scientist @University Of Maryland - A. James Clark School Of Engineering
College Park, MD, US
Under Prof. Ichiro Takeuchi, continued working on elastocaloric materials and systems. Working on fabrication and characterization of functionally graded NiTi tubes and NiTi tubes of different transformation temperatures and their application in novel high efficiency functionally graded and cascade elastocaloric regenerators with minimized strain maldistribution and reduced mechanical work input. Working on Cu-based (CuAlMn and CuAlZn) small-scale regenerators with enhanced efficiency, made of custom-made alloys fabricated by a novel thermomechanical treatment that generates a unique quasi-single-crystalline microstructure that drastically reduces the transformation stress and the required mechanical work input.
