At the University of Alabama in Huntsville, our team focuses on advancing research in photo- and chemically engineered polymers and nanomaterials-based composites with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. With over two years of experience as an Assistant Professor, we address critical challenges such as mitigating plastic and biomass waste and overcoming persistent environmental pollutants through sustainable solutions in food packaging and agriculture. By leveraging expertise in polymer synthesis, thermodynamics, and environmental science, our lab develops innovative materials for packaging, water purification, and thermal management.
