ABOUT PARAS SINGH
I am a Performance Engineer specialising in gas turbine modelling, steady state and transient prediction, and whole engine integration. I hold an MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion from Cranfield University and currently support Trent engine programmes at ALTEN, contributing to performance modelling, compressor stability assessments, ingestion analysis, and engine test data interpretation.My experience spans engine performance prediction, component scaling, installation aerodynamics, propulsion system integration and thermo fluid simulation. I have delivered CFD driven research through the Rolls Royce UTC at Cranfield, completed propulsion integration studies at IISc, and executed aero thermal simulations for advanced nozzle concepts. These experiences have strengthened my systems level understanding of how components interact across the operational envelope.I work comfortably with NPSS, MATLAB, Python, ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Siemens NX and Tecplot, and enjoy solving complex engineering problems with a structured and analytical approach. I am particularly motivated by future combat propulsion, sustainable high performance systems and the challenge of turning thermodynamic principles into reliable engine behaviour.
