An accomplished academic and researcher with expertise in investigating social interactions, and how our verbal and non-verbal behaviour interacts with and determines the way we perceive and reason about our world. Currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Psychology (Teaching & Scholarship) and Director of Graduate Opportunities and Employment at the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences, at Queen Mary University of London. Findings from my research and scholarship activities have implications for higher education, psychological interventions, market research and human-computer interaction.Research Interests: communication in a multimodal world; social interactions; the role of language, body and action in understanding human behaviour and cognition; academic achievement in higher education; embedding employability in the curriculum and empowering youth. Technical Skills: design of behavioural experiments, interviews and online surveys; data analytics (Excel, SPSS and R).
