About Parasher Prajna
I am a filmmaker/scholar and multi-disciplinary artist practicing at the shifting intersection of classical thought and new technologies. I was born in the foothills of the Himalayas, I began my education as a filmmaker in Paris and went on to earn a Ph.D. at Northwestern University. Currently I am a Professor, and Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at Chatham University. My personal focus is on postcolonial studies and comes to realization in several forms - writing, film, and installation.
