Packaged Boiler Systems – Engineer 1. Product & System Focus- Firetube and water tube packaged boilers (PBS)- Integrated burner/controls packages- Turnkey boiler room systems- Hydronic Pumps and Systems (HPS)-Packaged Water Systems & Engineering Solutions (PWS)- Controls / Hawk → Boiler controls & integration- Ancillary equipment (deaerators, feedwater systems, blowdown separators).2. Core Responsibilities- Reviewing specifications and preparing technical selections- Supporting sales teams with boiler sizing, configuration, and pricing- Creating submittals, drawings, and documentation- Coordinating with manufacturing and project engineering- Ensuring packaged systems meet CB standards and customer requirements- Participating in product lines, controls, and system integration- Growing into more complex packaged system design and applications - Review and understand project contract drawings and specifications- Conducting required Design calculations for Pumps, Boilers, Feed Tanks- Gather cost data from our database, product engineering drawings and bill of materials, and previous projects to develop sales quotations, which are then provided to our sales representatives to meet job specifications and requests for proposals- Supporting internal Product Managers on a variety of projects and tasks to maintain and update our standard product data, literature and pricing associated with our rep-only online sales configurator (CPQ) tool & Powerup (Sales force)- Develop and maintain complex product configuration logic in a cloud-based configure-price-quote (CPQ) application which supports the quotation and ordering processes used by our sales representatives- Communicate with our external suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and other data on key components to support non-standard applications- Navigate Sales and Manufacturing Database programs to find product drawings and bills of materials
