GLOBAL HEAD OF ENTERPRISE DATA INTEGRATION & ANALYTICS PLATFORMS AND SERVICES AT EBAY INC. Delivers the central data platform strategy and standardized data and analytics services across eBay Inc. Head of the organization, leading over 60 data engineers and scientists and handle $10M -$15M in operating budget annually. IMPACT Established the Enterprise Data Analytics Strategy, implemented the Data Integration architecture and built the enterprise data platform to bring together data from on-prem enterprise financial apps such as SAP and cloud solutions such as Ariba and Workday to support enterprise-wide analytics. Modernized the enterprise data fabric and implemented a hybrid cloud architecture that enabled faster analytics delivery while supporting seamless app integration across eBay. Received the Data Masters Award. Established the ML Ops competency and delivered solutions to predict daily sales, fraud, and security incidents using Machine Learning. Successfully Implemented the data acquisition and ELT architecture for the eBay Customer 360 Initiative to acquire and model the eBay customer base to improve CX and growth. Implemented data governance and a comprehensive company wide data catalog to enable data exploration while supporting privacy and compliance initiatives. Delivered the PayPal separation initiative for BI, Reporting & Analytics, to split, systems, data, processes, ETL, reporting and analytics framework. Received the eBay Universe Award for Operational Excellence. Reduced the operating costs for the data and analytics support services by $2M annually by consolidating and establishing strategic partnerships. Established the offshore support model enabling a follow-the-sun support model utilizing resources from the Americas, India, and China that effectively saved the company $1.25M in annual operating expense.
