About Parameswaran Ramani

I am the Head of Human Resources at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions company. I joined the company in May 2005, based in its headquarters in India, in the HR area as a recruiter of professionals for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Later, I worked in the recruitment area focused on ERP and then I reached the leadership recruitment team for two Indian cities, Bangalore and Kochi, occupying the position for 5 years.I became an HR Business Partner in 2009 focused on TCS High Tech BPO business unit based in Bangalore. In this role, I was responsible for a BPO project held in Uruguay, building a unique vision including organizational, cultural and intercontinental (India, USA and Uruguay) integration. I am living in Brazil since 2011 and previously held positions such as Talent Acquisition and Management. I became responsible for all HR area in the country in 2012. Since September 2016, I added the RMG (Resource Management Group) area for Latin America to my role of Head of HR.My challenge includes daily work oriented to business, adding value to TCS’ customers and promoting organizational growth. In addition, I am focused on efficient talent acquisition and retention, always through Human Resources’ best practices. I am also responsible for creating social responsibility projects to needy communities involving the company\'s associates.I have a degree in Mathematics from Loyola College, with a graduate degree in Human Resources and Finance from Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), both institutions in India.Since I joined to the HR area in Brazil, the company has grown a lot, from 300 associates to more than 1,100 currently. In addition, TCS Brazil received the exclusive \"Top Employers Latin America\" certification granted by Top Employers Institute in the years 2015 and 2016, demonstrating the organization\'s attention and dedication to the professional development of its employees.
