About Param Naik

As a Finance and Management student at North Carolina State University, I am passionate about learning and applying the skills and knowledge that will help me succeed in the business world. I am a Student Senator at The NC State Student Government, representing the Poole College of Management in the 103rd Session. In this role, I advocate for the interests and needs of my fellow students, collaborate with other senators and campus leaders, and participate in various committees and initiatives. I am also the Executive Secretary of the Beta-Beta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, where I facilitate communication between the chapter and brothers, and coordinate events and activities that promote brotherhood, service, and leadership. Before joining NC State, I gained valuable experience as an Assistant Manager at Subway for over two years. I managed inventory, supervised employees, and handled payroll and banking tasks. I have also set up and managed the store security system and computer systems. Furthermore, I have increased sales by using different marketing techniques and boosting the business in the catering sector. Through this experience, I developed strong time management, organization, and management skills and a customer-oriented mindset. I am eager to apply these skills to summer internship opportunities in marketing, finance, or consulting, where I can contribute to the growth and success of an organization, and learn from industry professionals and mentors.
