Co-lead research, stakeholder workshops, and a large-scale mail survey as part of a $1M USDA NRCS-funded conservation outreach project to increase underserved landowner participation in conservation programs across the southeastern U.S, contributing from grant development to multi-state implementation.• Designed policy recommendations to enhance conservation adoption in USDA’s Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), integrating landowner interviews with econometric impact models to promote community resilience among marginalized forestry stakeholders. • Secured and managed a $100K USDA NRCS grant to strengthen nonprofit capacity and expand minority participation in CRP through outreach and training partnerships.I left this work for faculty/sabbatical roles in Aug 2023 and came back in Aug 2024.
