Assisted Supply chain to identify feasible material (mostly CSA 304 or304L stainless steel) for nuclear projects and ensure that they meet dimensional, mechanical, chemical and quality requirement (N299.3 or N299.4) which involves MTR & CofC verification, visual & dimensional inspection Created Inspection Test Plans for nuclear projects, worked with quality engineers to identify missing details, created detailed reports for project managers and combined the data to generate history file ( final project document ) for the customer Worked with Quality manager, project engineer and/ or manager, quality engineer to resolve all Corrective Action Requests ( CARs) from the customer side or internal Programmed and operated CMM, Faro arm, Laser tracker for various critical dimension verification and created Non-conformance reports (NCRs) for those not meeting the requirement Conducted statistical process control studies using Minitab for various projects and worked with team of Mechanical engineers, Control engineers and tool builders to identify and resolve issues to ensure the products meet customer quality requirement With the help of Minitab, data analysis, CMM measurements & brainstorming, assisted the team to find the root cause of issues related to different projects Coordinated & worked with the team to run Gage R&R (Type I & II) studies on various instruments (including scales, dispensers & leak testers) and ensured that they met the requirement Performed History file compilation for Nuclear projects, GAP analysis for various department activities and carried out various continuous improvement activities for the department and various projects
