ABOUT PAOLO STEFI

After a long experience in the editorial field in Italy and abroad, I decided to found Toad Creative Studios, a 360 degree Creative Consulting company that allows its customers to implement entire business areas by finding simple and effective solutions: we create synergies among really different subjects (gadgets and toys producers and traders, licensing agencies, toys international producers, distributors, publishing studios, many professionals.). Toad Srl, founded with Rossella Piccini, is today specialized in kids product like toys, publishing with gadgets, loyalties and managing collectable. We have more than 10 people working with us, the experience is complete for the ongoing presence of Toad at the most important National and International Fairs (Spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg, BLE in London, Toys Fair in Canton, Book Fair in Frankfurt, Book Fair in Bologna.), knowledge of production market in China with periodic factory visits, multi-year presence in the European licensing market and knowledge of the major EMEA markets concerning the toy world. Specifically, we are able to organize independently our work and staff to our dependencies, both internally and externally, by creating an economic and financial plan for entire business areas and managing the given budget autonomously by negotiating with suppliers the duties and prices, addressing hiring interviews, and defining the work priorities of entire workgroups. We are perfectly able to work in situations of extreme stress and very limited budget. We can relate to people of different nationalities and cultures thanks to the experience abroad (EMEA, USA and China), both in terms of marketing, product creation and editorial work. We also manage several external studies and collaborations in pressure periods, and I have periodic contacts with the whole publishing and toys environment (trading, licensing agencies, big toys producers.)
