Accountable for the general management of the Protection Department by providing guidance and knowledge on programme and operations’ processes and compliance in coordination with relevant functional partners (finance, logistics, marketing and others)- Responsible for the management of Protection Department’s projects and accountable for their adherence to project cycle management, including monitoring of outputs, budget and quality- Supervision of projects’ activities, monitoring the effectiveness, the efficiency and the consistency with the plan- Coordination of need assessment, projects’ design and set-up phases, by acknowledging the input received by the thematic advisors and the field coordinators about strategy, content and local context- Responsible for projects reporting by collecting and analysing data, and drafting necessary documents and deliverables- Support of the project managers/budget holders in planning and tracking of the utilization of human and financial resources, ensuring the compliance to internal and donor’s procedures- Responsible for drafting annual departments budgets and work plans- Responsible for submission of new project proposals to institutional donors- Coordination with relevant stakeholders, including national and international partners, in order to draft risk management plans, and to identify and solve problems
