I am trilingual English-Spanish-Portuguese, supply chain professional with 10+ years of experience in buying and supply chain roles. I started my career in the assembly line and knowing all the ins and outs of the line of production is what led me to understand the chain from beginning to end - seeing how everything is connected and understanding materials so well fascinated me and made me seek more knowledge, experience, and qualifications.I studied for 5 years Materials Engineering and I gained a reputation for my ability to be a persuasive negotiator and jump into any situation and help my team to thrive in ambiguous or uncertain circumstances. I thrive where I can wear my many hats and with my extensive knowledge and passion for buying and procurement I am a successful problem solver and crisis manager. I\'ve developed partnerships with suppliers from all over the world, from Asia, Americas and Europe! I can not only find you a new supplier but also think about solving problems from a technical specification standpoint. Once, by auditing the supplier and changing the raw materials to produce a part number I was able to decrease costs from $1.2 million to $300k.
