Vassilios is a scientific computing leader with a deep passion for advancing AI, Quantum, and High-Performance Computing (HPC) to accelerate scientific discovery. He has played a key role in designing and optimizing scientific computing environments for some of the world’s most respected research organizations.His career began in molecular biology at Harvard Medical School, where he contributed to immunology research and co-authored several academic publications. This early scientific foundation led him into bioinformatics, where he developed applications for gene discovery. Transitioning into the biotech industry, he took on leadership roles managing IT infrastructure to support cutting-edge discovery research.Vassilios current focus is on developing the strategies to advance HPC, Quantum, and AI technologies. He is dedicated to harnessing advanced computing platforms to enhance research efforts worldwide, collaborating with scientists and technologists to push the boundaries of innovation.
