ABOUT PANKHURI VERMA

I am Computer Science Master’s graduate with over three years of industry experience in developing software and AI solutions. I possess expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision, with a strong background in data structures and algorithms. I have a proven ability to contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions in the automotive industry and beyond.During my master\'s studies, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer (Werkstudent) at Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute developing projects for the automotive industry. I was involved in developing a computer vision segmentation model for \'Smart Car Wipers\' using a two-stage Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)- MobilenetV2-Unet model. This project, aimed at enhancing automated driving, involved data transformation and augmentation of images from camera sensors using Azure cloud services. Additionally, I have experience in developing recommendation systems using NLP technologies. I have also engineered fine-tuned GenerativeAI models for Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) to improve the understanding of VSS signal usability. My master\'s thesis focused on the precise estimation of CO2 emissions for AI applications, where I investigated the impact of hyperparameter optimization on energy efficiency.Prior to my master\'s degree, I gained substantial industry experience at Tata Consultancy Services as a System Engineer. During my tenure, I worked as a Full Stack Developer, where I enhanced an ERP system by developing onboarding digitization modules that reduced HR manual work by 80% using Agile methodology. I also developed comprehensive analytics solutions and managed the data lifecycle and dashboarding of HR data.My technical skills include Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, AWS EC2, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure ML, among others. I am proficient in English (C1 level) and have a working knowledge of German (B1 level), with a commitment to achieving fluency. I am passionate about leveraging AI to drive innovation and am always eager to learn and grow in this ever-evolving field.
