About Pankaj Kumar

I was born in Allahabad but spent my childhood in various cities across India due to my father\'s service in the Indian Army. Education has always been a priority for me, and in 2013, I achieved a rank within the top 1% of the UP board. I was honored to receive the INSPIRE Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for my higher education. Consequently, I enrolled in the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal as an integrated master\'s student. During my time at IISER Bhopal, I served as the student leader for Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA) for two years, where I led a team of 50 in conducting various awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, and other activities. Working with villagers was an incredible experience. After spending some time in the pharmaceutical industry, I realized it was not the career path I wanted to pursue. Therefore, I decided to transition to the development sector. I pursued a Master\'s degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from TISS, one of the premier institutions for developing professionals in the development sector. My interests focus on social entrepreneurship, livelihood creation, and the development of sustainable social enterprises. Currently, I am working as a Young Professional with the Rajasthan SRLM, stationed in the aspirational district Dholpur.
