Responsibilities include providing strategic input to senior leadership on technology trends in the industry and managing relationships with Tier1/2 suppliers to align component roadmaps with GM’s vision. Responsible to for creation of Interface Control documents and other engineering templates to ensure that Power Inverter designs are of high quality & robust. Responsible for supplier approval & management from a technical perspective, requiring extensive travel to China and South Asia. Actively engaged in reviewing in-house and supplier analysis to ensure design sufficiency and drive design improvements.
