Smooth efficient operation of Gas Turbine in an open cycle and close cycle with WHRB & its auxiliaries.• Cold Start up, Hot start up, Warm start up, Normal Operation, Emergency Handling and safe Shutdown of units.• Line up of the unit and its auxiliaries, changeover of equipment’s, routine testing of protection system and annunciation system.• Instruction Field Operator for safe operation of power plant equipment’s during the cold start up, warm start up and hot start up.• Safe startup and shutdown of equipment’s.• Generation as per the direction of business development and NLDC/NRLDC/WRLDC/SLDC to Maximize the profit.• Issue and cancellation PTW (Permit to work) system, safe isolation, Personal safety and equipment safety.• Monitoring plant operation and emergencies including the shut-down of unit’s load throw-off to control generation as per requirement.• Emergency Equipment trial and restoration of process and equipment.• Reduction in Aux Power Consumption, Specific DM water consumption, leakages.• DC drives trial on weekly basis. Black starts diesel generator to ensure the availability. • Isolation normalization of equipment safely. • Unit changeover of equipment as scheduled.• Preparation of night report including the punching of day-ahead station DC to WBES site.• Preparation and ready to start for GT’S and Boiler lineup as per NLDC Communication in Open cycle and closed cycle during the Peak hour and less reverse ramp rate.• Preparation and punching of station DC in intraday system. Communication from NLDC regarding the grid code for to synch the GT’S and ST in open cycle and closed cycle.• Switchyard isolation for 220kv & 400kv bus side and line side as per the requirement by maintenance or annual outage approved by NLDC.• Monitor each and every critical parameter respond quickly during any emergencies.• Maintain accurate and detailed records of operations, incidents, and equipment status, and report any deviations, abnormalities.
