About Panini Mohan Mokrala
Across my 9 year long professional career, I worked in Data Science / Business consulting (Mu Sigma) projects as well as Pharma Consulting (Novartis)During my time with Mu Sigma, I worked with various retail clients (Grocery chains, White Goods retailers). I supported these organizations in providing them support around Range & Spacing analytics of a store, Customer Analytics, designing the Loyalty program for the retailers. Mu Sigma helped me learn 1) Business Consulting (Client communication, Effective presentations through story telling: PPT/Excel, Empathy Maps etc) 2) Domain Experience (Operations of Retail chains, Customer Aquisition strategies etc) & 3) Functional Skilles (Visualization platforms like Qliksense, Dashboarding in Excel - VBA; Data Manipulation platforms: SAS,R, Python; Data Sciences: Regression, Classification, Clustering etc.With the experiences that I learnt with Mu Sigma, I joined Novartis. In a short time, I learnt the basics of Product launch in Pharma Industries, Data Sciences / Data Analytics usage in Pharma industry. I handled the Business / Advanced Analytics needs of a Cardiovascular, Oncology brands. As a recognition to my efforts, the company sponsored full sponsorship for my Masters in Data Sciences program with University of Michigan. Now, I lead a team that majorly works on Predictive Modeling that works on Patient/Doctor level outcome models that will feed into the overall optimization of marketing efforts for various pharma brands.
