About Ryan Moore
I am a self-taught software engineer, amateur programming language academic, international conference speaker, and a dedicated volunteer teaching programming to refugees. Professionally, I am currently a senior software engineer at StyleSeat - the premier marketplace for health and beauty services in the USA. Previously I was a senior engineering leader at MX – a fintech powering the user experiences, APIs, and data platforms of thousands of financial institutions and Fintechs. I have had the humbling and incredible experience of growing the company from ~100 to +500 employees and from ~1.2 million to ~60 million users. I have played a critical role in securing our most recent win of landing a $1.9 billion valuation with an associated $300 million raised. I am always looking for opportunities that can benefit from the unique experiences that I’ve had on this journey in ventures that will forge close-knit professional relationships and reach for astounding accomplishments.
