ABOUT PAMELA KRAUSS
Pamela Krauss grew up in Southern Saskatchewan in the rural farming community of Assiniboia. She received both her Bachelor of Sciences degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.Pamela joined Morrison Reist in 2010 as an associate and in 2018 became a proud partner of Morrison Reist Krauss LLP.Pamela’s practice focuses solely on employment law where a broad spectrum of her skills and personal attributes can be used in client service offering creative, sensitive legal solutions for difficult workplace issues. Her practice also extends outside of advocacy and litigation into workplace investigations.Prior to specializing in Employment Law, Pamela gained valuable practice experience in corporate tax law, commercial law, intellectual property law and information technology law through working as a student and associate at large Toronto firm and in house at a major technology company in the Waterloo region.Pamela has appeared before the Ontario Small Claims Court, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She also has a breath of experience in handling Ministry of Labor complaints, Canadian Labor Board unjust dismissal claims and Canadian Human Rights Commission applications.Pamela served two terms as a Trustee on the Board of the Waterloo Law Association from 20••••23 and then joined the Ontario Bar Association Council in 2023 as an elected representative for the Central South region of Ontario. For the 2024/2025 year she will be the acting OBA Director of the Central South Region of Ontario. For over 10 years Pamela volunteered with the local Alzheimer Society siting as President of the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Alzheimer Society Kitchener-Waterloo and Co-Chair of the Joint Integration Committee of the Alzheimer’s’ Societies of Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge.
