   Helping Montana\'s academic libraries to establish and develop their consortium through collaborative effort and identifying ways to best meet and exceed the needs of the students, faculty, and researchers in the state and beyond.* Continuing to strengthen the relationships between academic institutions and their libraries so that the higher education community can most efficiently make use of their collective resources and knowledge.* Coordinating the implementation of new services and projects to be developed with and delivered to Montana academic libraries.* Working with other education, government, and non-profit organizations to improve the learning, cultural, and economic development environment.* Coordinating the collection and dissemination of statewide library statistics and producing/delivering reports in both textual and graphical formats.* Researching and synthesizing information and data to support the strengthening and marketing of TRAILS.* Expanding cooperative collection development to include all academic libraries.* Coordinating the implementation of state-wide technology projects.* Using oral and written communication to achieve all of the above.
