ABOUT PAMELA BAMMI TOLF

I’m a seasoned HR and operations leader with 25+years of experience across nonprofit and for-profit sectors. I specialize in building people-first systems and processes that drive performance, engagement, and long-term organizational health. My strengths lie in leadership, coaching, change management, strategy development and execution, managing and developing others, performance management and cultivating high-trust relationships.As a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, I partner with individuals, teams, and leaders to unlock their strengths and elevate performance. I’ve developed and delivered coaching, management, and leadership development programs—including competency models and custom training—for organizations such as World Central Kitchen, NASDA, NFU, NOPA, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, and the US-China Business Council.My foundation was built over 19 years at Starbucks Corporation, where I rose from store partner to District Manager to HR Generalist, ultimately supporting over 250 stores in the Mid-Atlantic. Highlights during my operations and HR roles include achieving 20%+ YOY revenue and profits, reducing turnover by from 110% to less than 50%, achieving 70% internal promotion rates, reducing employee complaints by 80% and leading operations and training initiatives across hundreds of locations. I was a Manager, District Manager, and HR Generalist Coach Mentor. I trained and developed multiple people in these roles. I’ve also led HR as a department-of-one at a national nonprofit where I created and executed HR strategies. I now serve as HR Director at Vault Consulting, where I oversee outsourced HR functions for a portfolio of mission-driven clients. My work spans coaching and training, employee relations, policy development, performance management, competency modeling, change leadership, and HR compliance and operations execution including developing and executing HR systems and processes.I hold a B.I.S. in Human Resource Management. I am a SHRM-SCP and Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach and I am an active member of SHRM, DC SHRM, and NOVA SHRM.
