ABOUT PAMELA TUMA

As an accomplished executive, I excel in leading large organizations while driving technology transformations, change initiatives, and operations/finance optimization activities. I am known for providing strong leadership when building and developing teams as well as identifying and executing solutions that improve efficiencies and performance. In my most recent role at The Gavilon Group, I was engaged to restructure, improve, and direct their IT organization after they went through a transition in leadership and significant staff reduction. Reporting directly to the CFO, I am skilled in defining IT strategy and vision in order to facilitate achievement of business objectives in global commodity trade. In this capacity, I’ve led my team in rationalizing solutions so that we could add new, innovative technology without increasing expenditures. During my time at ConAgra Brands, among my other achievements, I was instrumental in leading SAP implementation for the flour and grains division as part of a companywide installation effort. Specifically, I served as a Project Board Member, approving order-to-cash related decisions for the conversion effort and facilitating reorganization of procurement, demand planning, inventory, and human resources post implementation. In addition to my day-to-day leadership roles, I was nominated to The Gavilan Group’s Women’s Leadership Board of Directors and served on other planning/steering committees. Furthermore, I am highly engaged in community service and currently sit on the Board of Directors at Food Bank for the Heartland. I am currently pursuing my Project Management Certification and Six Sigma Green Belt. My expertise includes Transformative Leadership, Change Initiatives, Business Process Optimization, Partnership Building, Relationship Management, Technical Strategy, and Business Growth.
