I began in the safety industry at the ripe age of 17. I got my start with a company known then as Safety West. Safety West was eventually sold into what is now known as Hazmasters. Little did I know as I memorized a warehouse full of part numbers for fun that the love affair was only beginning. Wisdom isn’t the strong suit of a 17 year old who loves a paycheque.I transitioned to Levitt Safety a few years later, at that time still determined to find out what the future held for me professionally. I didn’t know what I was doing ( literally ) or that it would become engrained in me as second nature at that time. I have now held various roles within the organization & did so determined to always fill my knowledge bucket in any facet that presented itself. Long story short, 23 years and counting it is part of who I am, and so much more. Growth is ever evolving and continues day after day, personally and professionally. Somedays, 17 year old me rears her head still wondering what the next chapter in this life holds professionally-however I know it is in Safety and now it’s exciting to know that, and be forever learning what’s up next!
