Leads a team of IT and Biomedical professionals who facilitate the use of technology to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of care. Methodist has 4 fully owned hospitals and 5 joint venture hospitals pluS over 30 ambulatory clinics. In 2015 I lead the selection and implementation team for a new EMR as well as developing the budget. We selected Epic for acute care, revenue cycle, all ancillaries and our clinics. We went live at 4 hospitals and 30 clinics in a “Big Bang” in April 2017, on time and under budget. I represent Methodist on the Board of our joint ventured Methodist McKinney Hospital.
