1. Senior Product Manager - Ai Feature Engineering

   Senior product manager for Target’s Feature Management (FM) engineering team, primarily serving data to the Demand Forecasting Engine data science teams responsible for generating most of Target’s forecasts. Achievements: Through observational discovery, provided insights into product and engineering shortcomings, charting a new roadmap and implementing solutions to increase product durability and better meet FM data user needs. Created visibility into feature usage and the need for sustainable feature deprecation practices, paving the way for a massive reduction of costs in compute, documentation and maintenance efforts for largely unused data. Co-led agile coaching sessions for a team of product and engineering leaders to highlight and resolve pain points between data engineering and data science teams in the areas of feature intake, discovery and delivery. Identified gaps in feature understanding and devised a series of data documentation and review sessions between data engineers and data scientists to drive feature usage. Created a data validation requirement gathering and implementation process resulting in proactive engineering support to resolve data issues and enhanced trust from downstream data users. Responsibilities: Develops and articulates a product vision, strategy and plan with engineering leadership to ensure the product meets user needs and delivers against Target’s data science objectives. Devise OKRs and metrics to deliver and track business impact and alignment of product initiatives to larger enterprise goals. Provides team leadership by helping data engineers understand business objectives and expected impact of planned initiatives, streamlining team operations, and mentoring aspiring product and engineering managers. Provides insights into feature management best practices for enterprise MLOps white papers and strategies, including the pilot for an enterprise Feature Store.
