ABOUT PAMELA G. PITZ

An energetic, passionate leader with over 50 years of financial services experience covering a broad range of business and functional areas. A leader who is devoted to the philosophy that, “unless you care, people don’t care”. Also, a family orientated individual that believes the answers to challenges we face in our business lives can often be found when considering similar circumstances and reactions in our personal lives. Someone who understands that no rules, policies or guidelines will ever replace good judgement and common sense. A high degree of expertise in people leadership, general management, strategic thinking, and risk management. Someone who will always give more than received and who, at this stage in life and career, is rewarded most by helping corporations and individuals succeed. Experience is wide and deep including a 37 year career at one of Canada’s largest and most successful financial institutions, Royal Bank Financial Group, directorships in “not-for-profit”and “profit driven” companies including a 10 year tenure at the Canadian subsidiary of India’s largest private sector bank, ICICI Bank, as Chair of the Risk Committee of the Board. Currently, the Chairman of the Board at the Canadian subsidiary of one of South Korea’s largest and most trusted banks, Shinhan Bank, and director of the Canadian subsidiary of India’s largest bank, State Bank of India. Corporate governance, including regulatory knowledge and experience, is extensive. A person who is dynamic, yet down to earth, with considerable experience in advisory roles and public speaking.
