As the Maternal & Child Health Home Visiting Systems Manager with the Public Health Division, starting on 1 February 2023, I will be leading the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program, the Public Health Nurse Home Visiting programs (Babies First! and Nurse Family Partnership), statewide home visiting systems initiatives to assure that programs and services address Title V priorities, and other state and federal requirements and measures intended to improve the health of women, infants and children.Some of my responsibilities will include developing strategies, long-range objectives and short-term goals and plans with program teams based on knowledge of program regulations, requirements, and legislative mandates, as well as developing and recommending state-level polices, guidelines, administrative rules, program strategies, protocols for implementation of legislation, and resources required to meet program objectives.
