I support and empower pupils in our Autism and Communication SPiM class by creating an inclusive, strengths-based learning environment. My role focuses on recognising each pupil’s unique communication style, celebrating their individuality, and adapting teaching approaches to ensure learning is accessible, engaging, and meaningful. I work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and wider professionals to nurture pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and independence, while promoting acceptance and understanding of neurodiversity.
