ABOUT PAMELA AALL

Pamela Aall is an expert in the fields of mediation, peace and conflict, and worked for many years at the US Institute of Peace. She is currently a visiting scholar at the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and currently serves on the board of Women in International Security and is a member of the World Refugee Council. She has co-authored and co-edited articles and books in the field of conflict management and has also written about NGOs in conflict environments. Her most recent books are Responding to Violent Conflicts and Humanitarian Crises: A Guide to Participants (co-edited with Dan Snodderly) and Diplomacy and the Future of World Order, co-edited with Chester Crocker and Fen Hampson.
